It might sound obvious, but at DD AUDIO™ we believe the goal of upgrading your bike’s audio system is so that you can get more enjoyment with clean sound from your favorite tunes while cruising to your destination. The problem is many of the motorcycle specific audio products available in the market sound fine while you’re playing music in the parking lot, but when the system is tasked with overcoming wind, exhaust pipe, and road noise that once “fine” sound all but fades into the sounds of the road.

SPEAKER EFFICIENCY

High efficiency, high output speaker designs mean more sound with less amplifier power.

A motorcycle stator doesn’t provide as much amperage as a car alternator, and it’s not easy to upgrade a motorcycle’s charging system. This means you need to make every amp count and our VO Series speakers are designed for just the task.

When compared to the plastic cone, plastic basket, small motor speakers that are prevalent on the motorcycle audio market today, there is little comparison when it comes to on the road performance.

The classic DD AUDIO style heat sink is used in this upgrade for max cooling with 50% more side wall thickness than industry norms and extra long fins to increase surface area. All major components have been upgraded; higher current mosfets and output devices, increased power capacitors, a more powerful transformer, plus improved venting and PCB with twice the thermal capability.
