Founders Jassa Langford (CEO) and Vicki Langford (VP/CFO) have deep roots in Oklahoma. Vicki was born in Tecumseh, OK and Jassa moved to Noble, OK in 1976 where he graduated High School. Jassa spent a few years splitting his time between Oklahoma, California and Hawaii during college years when he met Vicki and they married in 1984. They moved to southern California and started Digital Designs (DD AUDIO) in 1986, focusing on high end car audio and recording studio grade equipment in the early years.

As DD’s reputation for excellence grew, so did the business, the product line, and the customer base. Within just a few years, DD was shipping nationally and internationally, receiving more media attention and increasing production in the face of the rising operating costs in California. From every angle it had been made clear that America’s heartland was the most advantageous place to run their fast expanding operation, and where better than where Vicki and Jassa first met, Oklahoma.
