Dealer Product Return
Before submitting a return request please take a moment to review our Service Policies below.
Once you have submitted a return request a service technician will review your submission and contact you if there are any questions concerning your return request. Once a return request has been authorized you will receive an RMA #. Do not attempt to return a product until you have received an RMA #.

Only active authorized dealers will be able to utilize this program.

The dealer will be responsible for all return shipping on any returned item regardless of reason for failure. All returned products will require an RMA before being shipped back to DD. Products that are received w/o an RMA may experience a delay in service.

All service items will fall under one of the following categories.
- Manufacturer’s Defect Warranty
- Customer Service Accommodation
- Field Destroy
- Repair Service

DD agrees to repair or replace any DD product found to be defective in material and/or workmanship during their respective warranty periods.

Warranty Periods:
- The Dealer Warranty period will begin the day the item ships out of the DD Warehouse and will extend for a period of 1.5 years on all products except for US built speakers, where the period will be 2.5 years.
- The advertised end user warranty will be 1 year on all items except for US built speakers where the warranty period will be 2 years. If an item is sent in after the periods defined above it will only be eligible for Repair Service regardless of when the item was sold to the end user.
- Dealer Warranty and Advertised End User Warranty differ in duration allowing a dealer to stock product up to 6 months before infringing upon the Advertised End User Warranty period.
In certain instances DD will accommodate the cost to repair or replace CSAC eligible items during their respective warranty periods if an item is determined, by an authorized DD Audio technician, to have failed due to customer abuse or misuse and will not be covered under the Manufacturer’s Defect Warranty.
**Amplifiers with a Continuous Wattage rating exceeding 2,500W and Subwoofers with an RMS rating exceeding 1,200W will not be eligible for CSAC. These products will be covered solely under the Manufacturer’s Defect Warranty.**
Each dealer’s CSAC totals will be closely monitored. If a pattern of product abuse or misuse develops it could result in the dealer’s disqualification from this program.

Select products are eligible for Field Destroy within their respective warranty period. All Field Destroy products being credited or replaced will count towards the dealer’s CSAC totals unless the defect is due to a known manufacturing issue.

Eligible Field Destroy Products:
- Subwoofers: 200 Series, 500 Series, LE-S, and LE-M Subs
- EX, EC, DX, DC, VOM, VOMN
- All other products will need to be returned to DD Audio with an RMA to be considered for Manufacturer’s Defect Warranty or CSAC.

Field Destroy Process:
- Remove the cone/spider/coil assembly from the subwoofer or speaker.
- Take a digital photo of the field destroyed product along w/ the serial number if applicable.
- Submit an RMA request and upload the associated digital photos.
- A DD Audio Customer Service Representative will contact the dealer to verify the approval or denial of the Field Destroy RMA request. If the request is approved the Customer Service Representative will either issue a credit to the account or send a replacement.

DD builds their products with the best parts available in the industry. This enables us to offer repair service on several of our products in-house. Contact a DD Audio Service Representative with questions on a products serviceability.

Repair Serviced subs will receive a 1yr manufacturer warranty from the date of return shipping. Service prices are listed in the price list.

Repair Serviced amplifiers will be bench tested and guaranteed to be in 100% working order, to the best of our knowledge, before leaving our possession and will receive a 30 day warranty on the made repairs. Failures after the serviced products return, not directly related to the made repairs will not be covered under any warranty. Service prices will be determined by the made repair.

After a service repair has been quoted the customer will have 90 days to authorize and pay for the repair or arrange for return shipping. If no action is taken within the 90 day period the product will be considered abandoned and will become property of DD Audio.
