By using a highly rigid cone and low moving mass parts, driven with a high energy precision machined motor the TS3500 subs give you that distinctive DD sound from a sealed or small ported enclosure.
With the TS3500 subwoofers you get design features like a cast basket which give you more cooling and more excursion, larger magnets (the magnet weight jumps to 240 ounces), longer coil windings, increased internal motor cooling, and a 9″ Composite Spider System. Our exclusive Composite Spider System is more linear, exhibits less hysteresis, sounds better and suffers from less breakdown than traditional cloth/resin dampers or spiders. The proprietary DD Audio composite spiders enable our speakers to be pushed to even higher performance standards. We also add in high performance features like motor shorting rings, EROM surrounds, Direct Connect lead, and Free Flow Cooling to make a TS3500 series driver the perfect choice for a wide variety of system designs.
