DD: How long have you been in business?
Jeremy Johnson: 2.5 years.

DD: How did you get started in car audio?
Jeremy Johnson: When I was 12 years old, I came out to Seattle to visit my older brother while I was still living in northern Idaho and he had a sub bumping in his car and I thought that was the coolest thing in the world. From that day forward I became obsessed with car audio. When I was 19 (2004) I attended Mobile Dynamics in Phoenix. It took me about 2 weeks to land a job when I got home, and have worked in the industry since then.

DD: What made you decide to do car audio for a living?
Jeremy Johnson: When I was in high school I made a decent amount of money installing car audio gear. I figured if I can make money at this at such a young age, I should be able to make fairly good money when I “grow up”. It’s one of those things that I still, to this day, have passion to learn and get better.

DD: Does your shop specialize in anything specific?
Jeremy Johnson: We specialize in many categories, but one that is most important is customer service. We have 4 other car audio shops very close to us. One being a large/high volume, well known, multi-store that is a few blocks away. We get a lot of business from them because customers feel we have better knowledge and customer service. It is the best way to stand out from other dealers.

DD: How long have you been a DD Audio dealer?
Jeremy Johnson: A little over 2 years.

DD: Where did you first hear about DD Audio, and why did you decide to become a DD Audio Dealer?:
Jeremy Johnson: Really, the first time I saw the DD name was back in the late 90’s. I was flipping through the channels on TV and there was some huge SPL event on some random channel and I just remember DD was just killing everyone! I decided to become a DD dealer because it was always one of those brands I never heard anything negative about, and it just seemed like they were and still are pushing to be a household name.
